Who we are
Krueger & Richard Law provides legal information and related online services through its public website and associated firm systems. The principal office is in McKinney, Texas. Contact: [email protected].
Information we collect
We may collect information that visitors provide directly, including name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, matter type, state of residence, county or city, related or opposing parties, scheduling preferences, urgency, deadline or hearing notes, and a summary of the inquiry.
We may collect technical and security information automatically or when a form is submitted, including request URL, referrer URL, landing page, user agent, accept-language header, attribution parameters, bot-screening data, Turnstile verification results, hashed IP data, coarse IP prefix, and rate-limit keys.
If KR Homebase or a future client portal is used, we may collect account, login, session, audit, security, and user-interface preference information.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use necessary cookies and local browser storage for security, forms, login/session features, preferences, accessibility, and remembering Cookie Settings choices. Optional statistics, personalization, and marketing cookies are controlled through Cookie Settings. See the Cookie Policy for details.
How we use information
We use information to operate the website, respond to inquiries, evaluate whether we may assist, perform conflict checks, schedule consultations, maintain security, prevent spam or abuse, debug site issues, comply with legal and professional obligations, and administer firm systems.
Optional statistics, personalization, and marketing uses occur only if those categories are enabled or otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Contact forms and no attorney-client relationship
Submitting a form, sending an email, leaving a voicemail, uploading information, or using a future portal does not create an attorney-client relationship. A relationship is formed only after the firm completes conflict review and accepts the representation in a written engagement agreement.
Visitors should not submit confidential, privileged, or highly time-sensitive information until the firm has agreed in writing to represent them.
Sharing and disclosures
We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the website, hosting, security, email, forms, analytics, infrastructure, or firm systems. We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, professional obligation, or to protect rights, security, and integrity.
We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, this policy should be updated and an appropriate opt-out mechanism should be provided.
Retention, security, and rights
Public inquiry records may be retained for approximately 24 months or as long as needed to evaluate, respond to, defend, audit, or comply with professional obligations. Security, audit, and session records may be retained for a shorter or longer period depending on operational, security, legal, and compliance needs. Cookie Settings records remain in the visitor's browser until cleared, expired by version change, or overwritten.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No website, network, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure.
Depending on where a visitor resides, the visitor may have rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain uses of personal information. Requests may be sent to [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request." We may need to verify the request before acting.
Children, international visitors, and changes
The website is not directed to children under 13.
The website is primarily intended for United States audiences. Information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from the laws in other jurisdictions.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The effective date and policy version should be revised when material changes are made.
